The NavBar Style dialog box enables you to modify style of the Navigation Bar of the selected style in the Styles layout or the selected NavBar in a page.

The Type of NavBar section enables you to choose between two options - Text Only and Image with label. If the Text Only navigation bar type is selected then links are displayed as highlighted texts. It is useful if browser to view this page is textual. If the Image with label type is chosen, the links are displayed as image buttons.

The NavBar Orientation section enables you to select orientation of your Navigation bar. It can be Horizontal or Vertical. The Horizontal orientation is used when you want your navigation bar at the top or bottom of your page, usually in header or footer. The Vertical orientation is used mostly for left-aligned navigation bars.

The Alignment of NavBar section enables you to set alignment of your Navigation Bar on the page. The possible options are:

When the Image with label navigation bar selected:
Vertical Alignment:

Horizontal Alignment: If you choose Image with label Navigation Bar, all the alignments except Center are available. If you choose Horizontal and Text only Navigation Bar, no alignment is available. If you choose Vertical and Text only Navigation Bar, only horizontal alignments are available.

In the NavBar Button Groups section you select button groups. You can modify settings for selected group.

When the To Other Pages navigation selected, the following Buttons and Button Groups are available:

When the To Frame-Content Overlays in same page navigation selected, the following Buttons and Button Groups are available:

For the To Bookmarks in same Frame-Content Overlay navigation, Siblings of the same parent NavBar Style:

If you have selected Custom navigation in the Style - NavBar buttons (links) will point to section of the NavBar Type or Insert NavBar dialog box, you also can add new buttons or delete existing ones by using the Add and Delete buttons to the right of the NavBar Button Groups section, respectively.
You can move buttons up or down in the list by using the appropriate Up and Down buttons.

The check box to the left of button or button group name enables you to show/hide button or group in the Navigation Bar.

If you have selected Text only navigation in the Type of NavBar section, you will see Separator in the NavBar Button Groups section, that means a separator between the NavBar buttons.

The contents of the Button Style section is based on the selection between Text only or Image with labels Navigation Bar in the Type of NavBar section.

When Text only selected, the Button Style section will contain the following controls:
